Peggie June Gray Dobbins of Joelton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Born on July 16, 1937, in Nashville, she attended North High School. Peggie began her professional journey with Bellsouth and later retired from Lucent Technologies.
Peggie was a committed church member, fiercely loyal friend and above all a daughter and servant of our precious Heavenly Father through our Lord Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, George and Hazel Gray; her cherished husband, Harry Dobbins; her dear daughter, Debbie Dobbins Davis; her precious granddaughter, Brandy Rose Boles; and her loving daughter-in-law, Loni Dobbins.
Peggie is lovingly remembered by her children, Steve (Cindy) Dobbins, Jeff (Linda) Dobbins, Scott Dobbins, and Kellye (William) Uhles; her sister Judi Driver and brother David Gray; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who were all blessed by her kindness and warmth.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Amedisys Hospice Care for their extraordinary compassion and support.
A celebration of Peggie’s life will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204.
Visitation: Monday, June 23, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Service: 4:00 PM, immediately following visitation
