Paul B. Sams, age 98 of Whites Creek, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023.
Preceded in death by wife of 71 years, Marjorie Burton Sams; daughter, Betty McMahon; and grandson, Jeffrey Binkley.
Paul retired from NES as a lineman after 38 years of service. He and his late wife, Marjorie, were faithful members of the Church of Christ. He loved to bowl and go fishing. He served our country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. Paul will be greatly missed.
Survived by daughter, Teresa (Gary) Clements; son-in-law, Tom McMahon; grandchildren, Lee (Jan) Binkley, Denise (Jim) Bradshaw, Samantha (Zach) Tipton and Christopher (Angie) Fox; 7 great-grandchildren; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted by Wendell Byrd on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. (visitation 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road.
