It is with heavy hearts that the family of Naomie Monroe announces her passing on January 23, 2026.
Naomie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Dorothy Viola Kelly-Ellis and Arlin Leon Ellis, and by her brother, Ronnie Rowe.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her sisters, Rebecca Fain, Carolyn Rowe, Kathleen Dyer, and Sherrie Beasley, and her brother, Arlin L. Ellis Jr. She is also lovingly remembered by a host of nieces and nephews.
Naomie took great pleasure in singing and faithfully read her Bible daily.
She loved to travel and deeply cherished her church family at Bible Church of Jesus in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where she was lovingly guided by Pastor Johnny Tipton. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life and a source of strength and comfort.
Her favorite song, “Sheltered in the Arms of God,” reflected the peace and assurance she carried in her walk with the Lord. Naomie also adored the color red, a beautiful reflection of her vibrant and loving spirit.
She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for family, and the joy she shared with all who knew her. She is now sheltered in the arms of God and rests peacefully.
