Nancy Oakley Robinson, age 66 of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her chosen career was that of a mother. She was a member of Jackson Park Church of Christ and loved cooking at the church camp every summer. Nancy loved being outdoors, working in the yard, and was an avid seamstress of clothes, custom drapes, and quilts.
Preceded in death by her parents, Ward S. Oakley, Sr. and Leone “Tommie” Oakley.
Survived by her husband of 45 years, Gale B. Robinson; children, Katherine R. Sloan (Lyell), Laura Robinson, Gale B. Robinson, Jr., and C. Michael Robinson (Leah); grandchildren, Elliott “Ellie” Sloan, Edwin “Win” Sloan, and Oakley Sloan; brothers, Richard S. Oakley (Marydell), Dr. Ward S. “Pat” Oakley, Jr. (Nancy), and Charles T. Oakley (Gail); sister, Suzanne O. Sevier (Dick); brothers-in-law, Rob Robinson (Debbie) and Norman Robinson (Stephanie); numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Harley.
Visitation will be at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home Tuesday, January 10th from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at Jackson Park Church of Christ, 4301 Gallatin Pk. Nashville, TN 37216, Wednesday, January 11th at 10 am, Brother Heath Pickard officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. Family will serve as Pallbearers.
