Michael “Mr. Mike” Eugene Kinnard, Jr., a pillar of the Nashville, TN community, passed away on May 7th, 2025, at the age of 52. Born on October 24th, 1972, Mike dedicated his life to uplifting those around him through unwavering support and innovative solutions.

As the founder of Darkside MC/SC/CC and MTCS, Mike channeled his passion for service into leading initiatives that profoundly impacted underserved areas in Nashville. His commitment to raising funds and supplies led to successful toy drives, supply and food drives, and sponsored rides and walks that provided essential resources and heightened awareness for causes close to his heart.

Renowned for his creative problem-solving, Mike continuously found new and effective ways to support his community. His generosity and determination made him a respected and beloved figure among community members and friends.

A devoted father and grandfather, Mike’s love for his family was evident in every holiday meal he lovingly prepared. He was known for his famous chicken dressing and honey gold pork chops, a family tradition that brought joy and togetherness.

An avid Star Wars fan, Mike’s collection of Darth Vader memorabilia reflected his enthusiasm and zest for life. His passions for cooking, travel, and outdoor activities showcased his love for experiences that brought people together.

Mr. Mike’s legacy of generosity, support, and hard work continues to inspire all who know him. His dedication to community service and his ability to “speak life into others” have left an indelible mark on Nashville. While he may no longer be with us, his spirit lives on through the lives he touched and the positive changes he effected within his community.

Those who have passed on before him are his father, Michael Eugene Kinnard, Sr., sister, Keisha Kinnard, cousin, Walter Glenn, and nephew, Derrick Slaughter.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are sons, Jammie Jordan, Jamichael Jordan, Jadian Kinnard, mother, Sherron K. Crook, siblings, Deloris Gooch, Harold Osborne, Myron Kinnard, Tameka Slaughter, Antonio French, Coco French, and Alicia French, grandson, Jamichael Jordan, Jr., loving fiancée, Shantae Modena, niece, Charlisha, and nephew, Lil Darick.
