Michael A. Hudgins passed peacefully in his sleep the morning of July 8, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. From this marriage of over 54 years to his wife Margie, he had two children, son Michael Travis (Natalie) Hudgins and daughter, Maranda. They blessed him with seven grandchildren: Caylie, Michael, Emalie, Ellie, Makinzie, Kyndall, and Landon.
Michael grew up in Nashville where he graduated from Central High School. From there he joined the Air Force, did his tour of duty in Vietnam and came home to marry Margie and begin their family. He worked and retired from the telephone company and as a handyman.
He leaves behind three siblings- Judy (Clyde Lee) Hicks, Mark (Monica) Hudgins, and Linda (Gary) Wise, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Michael left a legacy of love, kindness, and loyalty for his family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Woodbine Funeral Home, WALLER CHAPEL, 7281 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN. Interment Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, WALLER CHAPEL, 615-776-7009.
