Mary Ann Dunn (December 12, 1946 – June 10, 2025)
Mary Ann Dunn, beloved mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 78.
Born Mary Ann Coheley on December 12, 1946, in Piedmont, Alabama, she was the daughter of Carl and Ruby Hunt Coheley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Gary Coheley, and her husband, Rev. Jim Dunn.
Mary Ann dedicated her life to education as a lifelong math teacher, touching countless lives through her passion for learning and her unwavering support of her students. She was also a devoted pastor’s wife, standing faithfully beside her husband in ministry and service.
Her heart was especially drawn to missions, and she spent many years encouraging, supporting, and participating in mission work through the Church of the Nazarene.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Rebekah Price and son-in-law Tucker Price; her two grandchildren, Rutledge and Ruby Price, who were the joy of her later years; and many friends, former students, and fellow church members whose lives were enriched by her warmth, wisdom, and generosity.
Mary Ann’s legacy is one of faith, service, and love—an example to all who knew her.
A celebration of her life will be held at Concord Community Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider supporting mission work through the Church of the Nazarene or your local church and community.
