Martha Nell Jackson, age 80, of Goodlettsville passed away on June 1, 2024.
Nell was born in Nashville, Tennessee on January 8, 1944 to the late Clarence Odell Walls and Ruth Bell Hale Walls.
Nell loved life and loved to have a good time. Nell was kindhearted, sweet, and had a gentle soul. She was very giving and was always thinking of others. Nell, most importantly, loved her family, especially her son. Nell was very loyal. Her family always came first, and they always stuck together.
In addition to her parents, Nell is preceded in death by her husband, George Edward “Leo” Jackson; her son, Leo Dean Jackson; and her sister, Tina Lorise Walls.
Nell is survived by her siblings, Maydell Conquest, Willie C. Walls, Peggy (Chuck) Merrilees, Kenneth (Donna) Walls, Patricia (Morris) Johnson, Eddie Walls; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation for Nell will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075) and on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075). A funeral service remembering Nell’s life will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 12:00 noon with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens (353 E.
