Martha Frost Douthit, age 92, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully surrounded by her devoted family.

Born on June 27, 1932, in Franklin, Tennessee, she was the cherished daughter of the late Roy and Ruby Frost. Martha lived a life rich in love, faith, and service.

Martha graduated from Franklin High School in 1950 alongside her beloved brother, Harold Frost, with whom she shared a close bond. She had a long and distinguished career in the printing industry, earning respect for her dedication, meticulous attention to detail, and warm presence in the workplace.

Upon retiring, Martha dedicated herself to her Christian faith, becoming an active and passionate church member. Her commitment to helping others extended beyond her community, as she participated in a mission trip to Honduras, spreading love and support to those in need.

Martha was a beacon of love and strength to her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Danny Ozment; brother, Harold Frost; and sister, Linda Frost Beck. She leaves behind a legacy carried forward by her loving sister, Nell Beatey; her children, Donna Lynch (Billy), Debbie Evetts, and David Ozment (Lisa); her treasured grandchildren, Michael Lynch (Brandie), Lindsey Magness (Stuart), Julie McWright, Chris Felker, Nick Felker (Rachel), Candace May (Mike), Brandon Ozment (Lindsey), Blake Ozment (Amanda), Hunter Ozment, and Aiden Ozment; and a growing generation of great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.

Martha also leaves behind her dearest long-term love, Lanny Hale, whose companionship brought warmth and happiness to her later years and a wide circle of extended family and friends who cherished her deeply.

Martha will be remembered as a woman of grace and kindness who lived her life in service to her faith and family. She found joy in the simple things, the company of loved ones, and the beauty of a well-lived life. Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life:
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Martha’s life and honor her memory at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel 5852 Nolensville Road, Nashville, TN 37211 on Saturday, November 23, 2024, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon with the service to follow at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Heart of Mary House Hospice, 188 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37211 or Creekmont General Baptist Church, 5867 Washington Blvd Murfreesboro, TN 37129.

Martha’s spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire for generations to come.
