Martha Elizabeth Moore, age 89 of Goodlettsville, TN passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Skyline Medical Center.
She was born in Madison, TN on Oct. 23, 1932 to Ben and Prudie Mai Head. They both preceded her in death as well as her former husband, William Herschel Moore; a sister, Ruth Martin and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Moore.
She is survived by daughter, Linda (Benny) Maggart, Lafayette, TN; son, Steve (Nancy) Moore, Trinity, AL; grandchildren, Eli Moore, Benji Maggart, Nick (Amber) Maggart; great-grandchildren, Jaxton Maggart and a baby girl expected in Oct. 2022; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a retired school bus driver.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 1 pm all at the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 1080 Old Dickerson Pk., Goodlettsville, TN where she was a faithful member. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery, Madison, TN. Elders: Jerry Shrum, Benny Maggart and Anthony Barber officiating. Casket bearers are Benji and Nick Maggart, Steve and Eli Moore, Raistlin Evans, and Bob Head. Honorary bearers are Charles Moore and the Deacons of New Bethel Baptist Church.
