Marian Kaye Rackard, of Nashville, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024.
Kaye was born in Nashville, Tennessee on September 4, 1951.
She attended Peabody College, and then went on to earn her Masters and Doctorate in Education at Tennessee State University. Kaye was a dedicated teacher, assistant principal and director of Exceptional Education in Nashville, Tennessee. She had a passion for educating children in all areas of their school day. Kaye was a phenomenal school leader, role model and mentor to staff, and a safe haven for all children, whose sense of humor and love motivated them in every way.
Kaye was the beloved wife of Marie Copley. Devoted friend to many.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln., Nashville, Tennessee 37204.
