Margarette Jeraldine Beard, age 75 of Nashville, TN, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021. She was born August 18, 1946, in Nashville, TN to Jerry Donald and Margarette Landon Mundy.
Mrs. Beard will be remembered for her love of family as she truly enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Beard was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Tommy and Wayne Mundy. She is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Bobby (Leighann) Beard and Rhonda (Joe) Richardson; siblings, Donald Mundy, Beverly Lever, Barbara Dye, and Sandy Abernathy; grandchildren, Cody Beard and Haley (Josh) Gregory; great-grandchildren, Maci Gregory and Maddy Hollis-Beard; and many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Mrs. Beard’s life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2021, in the Chapel of Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Mrs. Beard’s memory.
