Linda C. Newbill, 73, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024, at Tristar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was born December 31, 1950, in Daytona Beach, Florida to the late Robert and Jacqueline Castleman.
Those who have passed on before are brother, Steve Castleman, and sister Patsy Castleman Melton, sister-in-law, Pauline Castleman.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are sons, Jon (Marlena) Newbill and Josh Newbill, grandsons, Jonathan Dickens and Noah Stewart, brothers, Jerry Castleman and Mike Castleman, and beloved nieces and nephews.
Linda was a loving and wonderful mother with a secret fudge pie recipe that she has taken with her to place of rest. She loved cooking and baking for friends and family, and she passed that loved to her two son. She was especially known for her desserts and sweets.
She was a hard worker and considered her coworkers at the legal department of the State of Tennessee part of her extended family.
She was a loving selfless friend that would drop everything to help when her assistance was needed. Her loving nature was most evident in her lifelong care of God’s creatures. From feeding squirrels and birds to her adoption of many cats and dogs through the years, she found simple joys in the care of these critters.
