Lewis Brant Horne, 46, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on January 18, 2026. He was born on August 8, 1979 to loving parents, Roger and Rebecca Frey Horne.
Raised in Brentwood, Tennessee, Brant grew up with a deep love for sports and competition. He especially loved baseball and basketball and was proud to continue his athletic journey as a Trojan at Trevecca Nazarene University. Following graduation, Brant built a career as a corporate recruiter for the mortgage industry.
Faith played an important role in the Horne family, and he was brought up attending Brentwood Baptist Church. When he and Kristen started their own family, they naturally made Brentwood Baptist their church home.
Brant was known for his resilience, quick wit, and ability to bring laughter into any room. His sense of humor was one of his greatest gifts. He had a way of making people feel at ease and reminding them not to take life too seriously.
Brant was preceded in death by his father, Roger Horne.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kristen Blalock Horne; his cherished children, Rylee and Jackson Horne; his mother, Rebecca Horne; his sister, Ashlee Wright; and his dog, Henry, his loyal sidekick and constant companion.
He was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend of many. His warmth and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 to 12:00 on Friday, January 23, 2026 in the Atrium at Brentwood Baptist Church, 7777 Concord Road, Brentwood, Tennessee. A Celebration of Life service will follow in Baskin Chapel, officiated by Garrett Gregory and Clay Adkisson.
