Lem Dale Jones, age 75, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on May 16, 2025.
Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Dale was the beloved son of the late Lem Jones and Rebecca Dement. He married the love of his life, Tempie Jones, on December 22, 1985, in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Together, they shared 40 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on love, family, and selfless service to others.
A true jack of all trades, Dale’s hard work and determination led him to eventually own and operate his own business, Dal-Jon. Whether fixing a broken pipe in the middle of the night or helping a neighbor without being asked, Dale was always ready to lend a hand. His work ethic was matched only by his heart, he lived a life of quiet generosity and simple joys.
Dale had a deep love for the outdoors. He was never happier than when working on the farm, planting flowers, or spending time at the beach house. A devoted Titans fan, he cherished attending games and cheering on his team. He also had a special bond with his dogs, Peaches and Cream—his cherished companions known affectionately as “his girls.”
Dale will be remembered as a selfless, humble man who loved his family dearly. He is survived by his wife, Tempie Jones; his children, Shellie Bryant and Youree Jones; and his grandchildren, Cyrus Jones, Caidynce Bryant, and Charley Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard Jones.
Dale’s legacy of hard work, kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
