Lathan Javelle Sweatt, age 10, of Nashville, TN, born on August 9, 2012, and passed away on July 30, 2023.
He is survived by his mother, Uniquea Sweatt; father, Brandon Kiante’ Moore; siblings, Jeremiah Sparrow, Keyannah Moore, Kiante’ Sweatt, and Sytarria Moore; grandparents, Leslie Golston, Eileen Moore, and Daniel Fletcher; aunts, Katrina Golston, Danielle Moore, Dadreinne Sweatt, and Dandra Sweatt; uncles, Jaque Sweatt Jr., Christopher Moore, LaChristopher Terry, and Jeff Gyebi; cousins, Christian, Nyjai, Adreinne, T.J., Alex, Reign, and Kyree.
My Sour Patch Kid. Lathan was that child who had all the energy, all the excitement, and a light so bright. He loved being outside. He also loved playing board games like chess, playing basketball and video games.
He was so smart with math being his favorite subject. He would say, “it just comes easy to me.” Being an AB Honor Student, school was a breeze.
He came with the best facial expressions and the best hugs. Lathan brought so much life to the family. You are missed.
