Larry Wayne Davy, age 78, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on June 10, 2025.
Larry was born in McMinnville, Tennessee, to Jesse Anderson Davy and Lola Mae Davy on November 30, 1946. He completed some college and went on to serve his country as a proud Navy veteran. Following his military service, he worked with dedication at AVCO Industries, Westinghouse, and American Tire Warehouse.

A devoted Christian, Larry was a member of Madison Church of Christ. He was known for his kind smile, witty personality, and warm presence that made everyone feel like a friend—because to Larry, no one was a stranger.

He found great joy in tinkering with cars, attending concerts, swimming, and spending quality time with friends and family. He also had a passion for drag racing and hot rods.

Larry was deeply loved by his family and his church community. He will be remembered for his friendly and caring spirit, and for always standing out as someone who genuinely touched the lives of those around him.

He is survived by Joe Warren (Luann), Dale Warren (Debra), Tracey Coggin, Lisa Fleming (Hank), Rachel Renfro (Dwayne), and a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Lola Davy; his sister, Patricia Warren; his brother-in-law, Ray Warren; and his niece, Nancy Ramer.

Larry will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him.

A gathering of family and friends for Larry will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
