Larry “Keith” Bess, 54, passed away unexpectedly at Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center on November 3, 2024. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on a snowy January 31st in 1970 to Larry and Wilma Bess.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Tony Eugene Bess, and stepmother, Patty Bess.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are daughter, Hannah (Ryan) Welch, grandchildren, Aurora and Eliana (on the way), mother, Wilma (stepfather – Lloyd) Pearson, and father, Larry Eugene Bess, sister Cheryl (Roy) Binkley, and brother, Jimmy (Kristy) Bess.
Keith was a passionate Raiders fan, never missing a chance to cheer on his favorite team. His love for movies was evident in his extensive collection, with Marvel superheroes holding a special place in his heart.
For 51 years, Keith bravely battled Type 1 diabetes, showing remarkable strength and resilience. He was a familiar face in the Hendersonville and Nashville area, working at various local grocery stores where he made many friends and left a lasting impression on those he met.
Keith’s enthusiasm for life, despite his challenges, and his dedication to his interests and community will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
