Larry D. Poston Jr. was born August 30, 1949, in Birmingham, Alabama and passed away November 4, 2025 in Nashville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry D. Poston Sr. and Evelyn Poston and brothers, Chris Poston and Greg Poston.
He is survived by his siblings, Susan Killebrew (Don) and Andrew (Carol) Poston, nieces and nephews, Harold (Melissa) Shepperson, Tabatha Shepperson, Jimmy Sigears, Seth (Shawn) Poston. Daniel (Heather) Poston, Rachel Poston, seven great-nieces and great-nephews and eleven great-great nieces and great-great-nephews.
He graduated from Nashville central high school in 1967 and served in United States Army, including a tour of duty in the Vietnam Conflict.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
