Mrs. LaNieve Cartwright Coles, born December 9, 1935, departed this life on Monday, April 18, 2022, she was 86 years old.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Haggard Coles Jr., and is survived by her daughters, Carol Lanieve Andrews and Laura Elizabeth Kindma of Cape Coral, Florida, and her brother, John K. Cartwright; grandchildren, Drew Andrews (Lena) of Atlanta Ga., Will Andrews (Kaitlin), John Andrews of Atlanta, Ga., Catherine Burkholder (Paul), Elizabeth Kindma Johnson, Melissa Kindma, and Nathanael Kindma and by great-grandchildren, Grayson Andrews, and Olivia Andrews.
LaNieve enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren immensely as they were the focus of her life. She enjoyed the company of many friends and was very active until recently. She was a long-time member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the Mills Sunday School class.
At her request, there will be a graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery on Tuesday, April 19 at 3:30. Pallbearers will be Brandon Knox, Paul Burkholder, and her grandsons.
