Laneta Dawn Wilson passed away on May 29, 2026. She was born in Woodbury, Tennessee, on December 6, 1981, to her loving parents.

Laneta was preceded in death by her father, J.W. Wilson.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Tim Wilson; her beloved daughters, Keria Wilson and Maddie Wilson; her mother, Sue Wilson; her brother, John Wilson; her sister, Gena Wilson; her niece, Makala Stevens; her uncle, Ray Vaughn; and many extended family members and special friends who will cherish her memory forever.

Laneta had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in deer hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. She was a dedicated fan of the Tennessee Volunteers and the Pittsburgh Steelers football teams. She especially enjoyed riding horses, particularly her brother’s Tennessee Walking Horses. Laneta also treasured her red pickup truck, a special gift from her father that held a special place in her heart.

Above all else, Laneta loved her family. Her greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved her husband and children wholeheartedly and created countless memories that will be treasured by those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Manchester Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 2, from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, beginning at 1:00 pm. A visitation will also be held prior to the service from 11:00 am to 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Tennessee Donor Services in Laneta’s memory.
