King Mark Ayers, Jr. – Age 92 of Nashville, TN. July 9, 2024. Preceded in death by wife, Mildred Ayers; and son, King Mark Ayers, III. Survived by grandsons, Corey Ayers and Mark Ayers; nephew, James Williams.
Mr. Ayers was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, retired from Baird Ward Printing Company, amateur boxer and professional fisherman.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 16, 2026. At 1:00 p.m. (visitation 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment with Military Honors at Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
