Kay Likens, age 69, of Old Hickory, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023.
She was a strong, independent, hard worker, single mother, family was always first, mother to all especially our close friends and husbands (she treated all as her own), pets were treated as family as well. She was our biggest cheerleader and dedicated her time and love to her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman & Charlotte Kingery, sister-in-law, Barbara Kingery; brother-in-law, Donnie Plain.
Survived by her daughters, Heather (Nathan) McSweeney & Kassandra (Brandon)Trent; stepdaughter, Chrystal Frazier; grandchildren, Hunter & Kylee; sister, Patricia Plain; brothers, Kenneth Kingery & Spencer (Karren) Kingery; nephews, Mike (Michelle) Plain, Greg Plain, Lee(Julie) Kingery, Ryan Kingery & Kory Kingery; niece Amy (Isaac) Yang; grandnieces & nephews, Charlotte, Cameron, Sasha, Makayla, Michael, Noah, Lucas, Olivia, Samuel; great-grandniece, Avery.
A Reception for friends and family will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at 505 Springmont Blvd, Old Hickory, TN.
A Celebration of life will take place Saturday, May 20th, 2-5 pm at Park Chapel Christian Church, 1176 E McKenzie Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140.
