On Monday, May 25, 2026, Kathie Zullo, loving mother of Madison and August Zullo, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away at age 52. Kathie was born on January 26, 1974, in Nashville, Tennessee to Leonard and Catherine Dorton.
Kathie loved traveling the world as a military spouse in Japan and Germany. Kathie loved more than anything was being a mother to Madison and August. She was also a fun-loving sister and aunt who was always up for a great roller coaster. Kathie will be remembered as a wonderful friend, sister, and mother.
Kathie is survived by her parents, Leonard and Catherine Dorton, her two children, Madison and August Zullo, her sisters, Mimi Casebolt (Billy), Angela Dorton (Jeremy), nieces, Emily, Katie, Leila, nephew, Bryson, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
