Judy Stewart Musgrove, age 85 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024.

Preceded in death by husband, Chesley Wayne Musgrove and daughter of the late Lucian “Luke” Stewart and Martha Marcum Stewart.

Survived by daughter, Brenda (Russ) Harrington; son, Steve (Pam) Musgrove; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Lappo; and brother, Dan Stewart.

The two things that brought Judy the most joy were music and working with young people. Always quick to volunteer as room mother, Girl Scout leader and Sunday school teacher. Hard work and leadership skills led her to a position working as a teacher’s aide, later working for doctors and hospitals. She admitted the first patient who ever stayed at Southern Hills Hospital, and then moved into a patient counselor position. Because of her great love for the Lord Jesus, it was her honor to spend time visiting the sick and shut in. Her home was always open for Bible study as well as young people.

She married her high school sweetheart, Chesley Wayne Musgrove in 1958, after he got out of the 82nd Airborne.
