Born on October 6, 1960, in Oak Lawn, Illinois, Joe lived a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and a passion for his work and hobbies.

He graduated from Goodlettsville High School as part of the Class of 1978. Joe was a proud member of the Local 572 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union for many years. His dedication to his trade was evident in every project he undertook.

Not only was Joe highly accomplished professionally, but he also possessed an easygoing personality that made him a joy to be around. Joe was an avid fisherman. He spent countless hours on and around the water fishing with his friends and family. Joe also enjoyed spending time in the kitchen trying new recipes. He passed this love on to his children. He recently even got into the art of wine-making.

Joe had a close bond with his brother Charles Haley (Kim). Their shared experiences created a lifetime of stories that will forever honor Joe’s memory.

Denise Haley and Selene Bennett were integral parts of Joe’s life as the respective mothers of his daughter and son. Tina Benjamins, Joe’s girlfriend, provided unwavering support and companionship throughout their time together.
