Mr. Jim Broyles, age 81 of Monoville, died Sunday evening, May 25 at Riverview Regional in Carthage. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Jane Evans Broyles and his children, Janet Fay Broyles Trainham (James) and Thomas Patrick Broyles (Amy) of Carthage.
5 grandchildren, Elizabeth Eatherly Trainham Little (Parrish), James Edward Trainham III (Emma), Lena Kay Broyles Franey (Tucker), William Thomas Broyles (Kristen), and John Bowman Broyles, one great-grandchild, Henry James Little, all of Carthage; siblings, Kenneth Ray Broyles, Martha Jo Broyles Vaughn, Leon Broyles (Martha Jane) and many nieces and nephews, all of Sparta.
Services will be conducted at First Baptist Church Carthage on Wednesday afternoon, May 28 at 1:00 PM. Bro. Jim Wilburn and Bro. Tim Frank will officiate. Interment in the Dixon Springs Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are; J. Edward Trainham, Parrish Little, Tucker Franey, Will Broyles, Bo Broyles, J. J. McCall; honorary pallbearers, Deacons of First Baptist.
Visitation at Sanderson Funeral Home beginning on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday at First Baptist Church Carthage from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
