Mrs. Jill Beechboard, age 68 of the Rome Community and longtime resident of the Hogans Creek Community, died Wednesday morning, July 22 at Tri-Star Summitt in Hermitage. She is survived by: husband, Bill Beechboard; son, Eld. Beau Beechboard and wife Rachel of the Rome Community; granddaughter, Chloe Beechboard of the Rome community; 2 sisters, Jeanette Clariday of Donelson; Rose Carter and husband Garry of Turkey Creek.
Mrs. Beechboard is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Saturday afternoon July 25 at 1:00 PM. Eld. Dave Silcox and Eld. Stephen Brooks will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Brandon Carter, Jamie Hamlet, Dylan Hamlet, Drew Hamlet, Robbie Reasonover, Dylan Dixon.
Visitation at the Carthage Chapel will be on Saturday only from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to Smith County Backpack Program or South Carthage Missionary Baptist Church.
