Jay Scott was born on May 20, 1963 in Nashville, Tennessee. He passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 62 in Nashville, Tennessee. Known by many, loved by plenty.
Graduate of DuPont Senior High, associates in graphic design from Nashville State. Jay is proceeded in death by his parents Thelma and Robert Gary, and siblings Dana and Richard Gary.
Jay was a loving son, father, and grandfather (poppa). Jay survived and will be deeply missed by Tina Dawn, Tanna Jayde, Aniyah Leigh, Dezmond Montreece, Rhiannon Renee, Tia Denise, Miranda Marie, Jayden Chance, Eric Lee, Zachary Jordan, and a host of many more great nieces and nephews.
He dedicated his life to making it all about his people, and dedicated his career to graphic designs.
