James “Jim” Edward Riester, age 63, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Jim was born in Shelbyville, KY to the late William and Anna Riester on August 13, 1958.
He is survived by his two sisters, Patricia Riester of Hermitage, TN and Jan Riester of Nashville; nephew, Calvin Thomas (Codosta) of Hermitage, TN; great-nephew, Mason Thomas, and great-niece, Megan Thomas.
A graveside service for Jim will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1101 LEBANON PIKE, NASHVILLE, TN 37210.
