Mr. James Carl “Bobby” Crutcher age 83 of Nashville passed away April 16, 2026, at his home.
Born January 31, 1943, in Davidson County, TN, he was the son of the late Coy Ray Crutcher and Lucy Louise Algood Crutcher. He was a graduate of Isaac Litton High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. Bobby was a “Jack of all Trades”, through the years, he loved “tinkering” and mechanic work. He also did painting and retired from University School of Nashville as supervisor of maintenance.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his wife of forty-one years, Judy Johnson Crutcher; daughter, Pamela Everett; sister, Maxine Matthews.
Survivors include: two daughters, Felicia (Kirby) Brown, and Sandy Elkin; sister, Pat Keith; brother, Bo (Margaret) Crutcher; grandson, Cole Everett; son-in-law, Nick Everett.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 2 p.m. from the funeral home of Phillips-Robinson Co., 2707 Gallatin Road, Nashville, with Bro. Ron Hardeman officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Madison, TN. Visitation Wednesday 4-7 p.m. and Thursday 12-2 p.m. at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home.
