James Alexander Cox, III age 56 transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Thursday, September 05, 2024.
He is survived by his father, William “Billy” Cox, and his loving and devoted mother, Patricia Rucker; three loving children, Austin, DeSean, and Lourdes; three adorable grandchildren, Legend Alexander, Austin Bennett James, and Lennox MarSean; two doting sisters, Pastor Julie Desirae Allensworth and Dr. Nicole Cox-Jordan (Chris); one honorable uncle, James A. Cox, II (Paula); one adoring aunt, Debra Ellison; his brother’s keepers, Kenneth Rucker and Donn Pendergrass; numerous devoted cousins, nieces and nephews; and dedicated and loyal friends including, Carol Herbert, Charles Wayne Jimpson, Mike Teasley, and the entire Herbert family.
