Mrs. Irene Quinn Patterson passed away at home on Friday, May 27, 2022, she was 90 years old.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Freeman Patterson; her mother, Zora Taylor; and father, Theodore Quinn.
She is survived by her brothers, Rex Quinn and James (Mayrene) Quinn; three daughters, Sheril (Brook) Bagwell, Sheila (Steve) Slate, Michelle (Rick) Sharpe; grandchildren, Milea (Aaron) Bagwell, Kayla (Mark) Bagwell, Kari Sharpe, Dalton Sharpe, Adam (Taylor) Slate; and her great-grandchildren, Cole Freeman Bagwell, Quinn Bagwell, and September and Elliott Slate.
Mrs. Patterson was a devoted member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. She was faithful in taking her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other children to church with her. She was an avid and talented gardener. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and playing in her flowers.
She was a farmer’s daughter from Parsons, TN, who never thought she would travel farther than Jackson, TN. Throughout her life, she has traveled to all 50 states and 4 countries.
She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed but she is celebrating in her mansion in heaven.
A gathering of family & friends for Irene will be held Monday, May 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. As well as, Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A celebration of life service will follow Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place afterward at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Memorial Gardens.
