Hugues Siffrard of Antioch, Tennessee passed away on September 11, 2021.
Mr. Hugues Siffrard is a naturalized Haitian American. He was born on March 22, 1977 to Anne Marie Siffrard and the late Venis Siffrard Sr, in Les Cayes, Haiti. Hugues immigrated to Nashville, TN in 1994, where he graduated from Hillsboro High School. He was highly educated, he attended Tennessee State University where he received his Bachelor Science Degree in Agriculture Science. Hugues later received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Administration from University of Phoenix in Nashville, TN. Hugues was employed at Fisk University as the Head Captain of Campus Security. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Antioch TN and a member of Knight of Columbus.
Mr. Hugues Siffrard was joined in holy matrimony on November 29, 2017 to his beautiful wife, Bernadette “Darlene” Siffrard. They absolutely love and adored each other, they enjoyed spending each and every minute together. You would not see Hugues without his Darlene. Hugues was a proud and devoted father to his daughter Amiyah, they had an unbreakable bond. He was a loving son to his mother and the life and soul of the party with his brothers and sister. He was affectionately known by his nieces and nephews as Uncle H. Hugues could lift anyone’s spirits with his laughs, jokes, and outgoing personality. His heart was made of gold, he truly cared about all his family and friends. He loved his Haitian community, movies, and shows.
Hugues leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Bernadette, his beautiful daughter, Amiyah; his caring mother, Anne Marie Siffrard; two brothers, Aderson Siffrard (Natasha) and Venis Siffrard Jr. (Janita); one sister, Marie Arlette Siffrard-Die (Jean Kenol); three nephews, Kheller, Shane, and Kevin; three nieces, Corina, Jaiya, and Jazael; and a host of family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 601 Bell Road, Antioch, TN 37013 by Father Titus Augustine. Interment Christ Church Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Aderson Siffrard, Venis Siffrard Jr., Jean Kenol Die, Kheller Die, Shane Siffrard and Kevin Die. Visitation will be Friday from 3-8 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 615-331-1952.
