Helen R. “Sue” Cashion, age 87 of Nashville, Tennessee went Home to be with The Lord on Monday, August 21, 2023.

Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caregiver. She spent her younger life as a housewife and mother while also caring for her mother for many years until her passing in 1974. She was very active in her children’s youth. She loved to sew, was a brownie troop leader, and involved with her children’s sporting and church activities.

She had a love for gardening, cooking and travel. She was a member of Crievewood Baptist Church since 1968. Following her mother’s passing, she went to work at Aladdin Industries until her retirement after twenty plus years of service.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Donald Cashion; parents, Charles Tatum and Jennette Smith Tatum; brothers, George and Jake Tatum; sisters, Sally Miller, Nancy Dobbins and Mary Eastes; daughter-in-law, Denise Cashion.

Survived by daughters, Pam (Greg) Craig and Lisa (Dennis) Butts; son, Jeff Cashion; granddaughter, Ashley Butts; great-granddaughter, Adalynn Mahaffey; several nieces and nephews and their families.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, August 25, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery by Rev. Ray Miller. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday, August 25, 2023, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road, 615-331-1952. https://www.woodbinefuneralhome.com
