Helen June Edwards, age 89, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Helen was born on September 24, 1934 in Nashville, TN to her parents, John Morgan White and Beatrice Gray White. She was one of nine children. Helen had four children of her own who will miss her greatly.
Helen loved her children and family fiercely. She loved life and no one was a stranger to her. Her heart of compassion reached out to those in need so often. She had a passion for traveling and was blessed to have visited those places special to her.
She worked diligently for several years at the VA and the Social Security office before retiring. Among her greatest attributes, was her faith in Christ and her love for Him, and she most assuredly is in His presence right now, and with those beloved family members who went before her.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, John Morgan White and Beatrice Gray White; Brothers and Sisters, Everette, Thelma, Walter, Glenn, Mildred, Denzil, John Morgan Jr. and Hazel.
Helen is survived by her Daughter, Sheri (Reggie) Durbin; Sons, Rusty (Velma) Edwards, Rick (Vicki) Edwards, and Rocky (Lynn) Edwards; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A Gathering of Family and Friends for Helen will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with the Celebration of Life at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
