Helen Ann Foley, age 74, of Joelton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, surrounded by the love and support of her family. She was born in Mullens, WV on December 15, 1951, Helen carried her Appalachian roots with pride throughout her life.

She later made her home in Joelton, where she was known for her strength, determination, and independent spirit. Helen lived life on her own terms and will be remembered for her resilience, her quick wit, and the love she shared with those closest to her.

In her younger years, Helen was known as quite the pool shark. She enjoyed the competition and friends she made during this time. She leaves behind many stories, memories, and moments that will be treasured by those who knew and loved her.

Helen was preceded in death by her beloved son, Richard Lee Foley, and her sister, Carolyn Sue Adams.

She is survived by her niece, Tabitha Thieman (Cliff); nephews William Adams and Steven Oldham; great-niece Lacie Huffman (Nate); great-nephew Caden Thieman; great-niece Carlie Thieman; great-great-nephews, Baylor, Kaysen, and Braxton; brother-in-law Robert Denton; sister-in-law Shirley Morgan; niece Jinny Lynn Persaud; several cousins, and many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory. She is also remembered by her longtime companion, Ronnie Bush, his son Jason, and daughter, Christy; though their lives eventually took different paths, they shared many years together and remained special to one another throughout the years.

Helen’s family finds comfort in knowing that her struggles have ended and that she is at peace. Her strength, perseverance, and unwavering spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and hospice staff who provided compassion, comfort, and dignity during Helen’s final days.

Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.

Visitation will take place at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home on Monday, June 1st from 12 P.M. until the time of Service at 2 P.M. Burial will take place at Plantation Memorial Gardens in Summerville, SC at a later date. https://www.andersonandgarrett.com
