Hazel Marie Claiborne age 94, passed away March 12, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Nashville, Tn.
Marie was a longtime and active member of Glenwood Baptist Church. She had a love for every baby she saw, spending time with her grandchildren and enjoying the activities at the Kempton.
Marie is preceded in death by husband Wayman Claiborne, parents Hazel Moncrief Ballard and Jesse Hubert Ballard, brothers Jack (Mildred) Ballard, Carl (Helen) Ballard, Robert Ballard, and sister Brenda Ballard.
She is survived by sons Burt (Andi) Claiborne, Steve (Jody) Claiborne, and Grandchildren Katie Claiborne and Benjamin Claiborne, sister-in-law June Ballard and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home Cemetery on Monday March 17, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
