Gwendolyn “Bonnie” Levone Underwood, age 76 of Old Hickory, TN passed away peacefully at Alive Residence in Nashville, TN on the morning of August 14, 2024.
Bonnie was born on August 24, 1947 to the late Ada Mae Harrington & the late Erie Paul Perry in Nashville, TN.
Bonnie loved her career in healthcare although she retired more than a decade ago, she missed the hospital atmosphere greatly. She worked at Bordeaux, Tennessee Christian, Memorial & Skyline Hospitals throughout her career as a nurse. Bonnie loved to spend time with family, she was an avid shopaholic & animal lover.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband John “Doc” Underwood; her beloved children, Donald Wayne Glasgow & Teresa Lynn Glasgow; Three brothers & three sisters.
She is survived by Granddaughters Chyna Glasgow (Blake Wright), Cailin Glasgow, Allie (Sean) Brownlee; Sister, Barbara Perry; Great-Grandchildren Giana, Clayton, Beau & Will; Her very dear friends Bob & Vicki Smith; numerous nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Nashville Humane Society in memory of Ms. Bonnie Underwood.
A graveside service will be held for Ms. Underwood at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville, TN. The family would like to ask for everyone to wear pink to the service in her memory. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/nashville-tn
