Gwenden Lee Davis, known by his firefighter brothers as “Jiggs”, 82, of Old Hickory, TN, passed away December 7, 2021.
He was a firefighter who began his career with Metro Nashville beginning in 1961 and retired after 40 years of service in 2001.
Preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Theodo & Elsie Evelyn Davis; brothers, James Edward & Doyce Davis; Son, Thomas Eugene Davis; wives, Betty Jo Davis-Hall, Donna Kay Hall & Ludie Davis; great-grandson, Tyler Davis.
Survived by children, Kenny (Pam) Davis, Tammy (Tommy) Inman, Tina Bowers, Amanda (Ronnie) Scott, Brandon Davis, & JR (Emily) Wilson; grandchildren, Alisha, Kenny, Betty, Brittney, Miranda, Jimmy, Matthew, Parker, Kimberly, Devon, McKenzie, Adeleine, Greyson & Ensley; great-grandchildren. Konner, Michaela, Tiffany, Jonathan, Jackson, Bentlee, Braylen & Aubree; great-great-grandchildren, Bruce & Maliah.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Services will be held at 11:00 am at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Leoni Cemetery, Woodbury, TN.
