Glynis Arlene Holder Gilliland, 60, of Madison, Tennessee, sadly passed away on September 3, 2024.
She was born December 26, 1963, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Arquilla Holder and the late Douglas Travis Holder.
Glynis was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Travis Holder.
Glynis is survived by her son, Jesse Lee Gilliland; mother, Arquilla Holder; brother, Leland (Ann) Holder; niece, Kristen Holder; nephew, Douglas (Chrissa) Holder; great-nephew, Elliott Holder; aunts, Shirley Standifer, Darlene (Johnny) Babb, and Deborah (Johnny) Higdon; special friend, Kevin Bowden; and one four-legged companion, Lil Bear.
Glynis was a woman who marched to the beat of her own drum. She had a fiery personality and loved to live her life. She used to enjoy the fun times and continued to be a fighter to the very end. She had a love for flowers and gardening. She loved to spend time reading and enjoying everything that life gave her. Above everything, family was the most important thing to her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
