Gerald Thomas “Jerry” Estes, age 77 of Nashville, Tennessee departed this life on Friday, October 6, 2023.
Preceded in death by parents, Bertha Lois Lawrence and Thomas Thurston Estes; and sister, Patricia Richardson.
Jerry, as he was affectionally known to his family and friends, grew up in Nashville and proudly served in the Tennessee Army National Guard. He enjoyed a successful career with the United States Postal Service and made many friends throughout his life.
Jerry is survived by nieces, Donna (Rex) Brown, Ray (Tammy) Givens, Lois (Robert) Patton and Elizabeth Alarcon. Jerry is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Family and friends will gather at Woodlawn Memorial Park for a graveside service on Friday afternoon, October 13, 2023, at 1:30 pm.
