Frankie Collins, age 93, of Whites Creek, a loving, gentle, and kind woman, passed away on May 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, faith, and devoted care for those she loved.

Frankie lived a life centered on family, service, and quiet generosity. As a homemaker, she poured her heart into the daily work of making her house a home, and those who knew her understood that her family was her true work. She gave of herself freely and faithfully, creating a place where love was always present and where everyone felt welcome. Her home was known for the hospitality she extended to both family and friends, and many found comfort in her presence and in the home cooked meals she so lovingly prepared.

Her life of service extended beyond her immediate family as well. Frankie helped feed members of her husband’s Union, offering her time and effort in support of others with the same gracious spirit that marked every part of her life. She understood the value of community and the importance of showing up for others, and she did so with humility and sincerity. Her actions spoke clearly of a woman who believed in helping where she could and in meeting needs with compassion.

Known as “Mamaw” by all of her grandchildren, she shared a bond with them that was deeply special and impossible to replace. She was the one who could sense when something wasn’t quite right, often knowing what was in their hearts before a word was spoken. Her love, wisdom, and quiet intuition made her a steady source of comfort and strength. No matter where life led them, Mamaw was always their safe place — the person who kept them grounded, reminded them who they were, and loved them unconditionally through every season of life.

Faith was also an important part of Frankie’s life. She was a member of First Baptist Church Joelton, where she found fellowship and strength in her church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 75 years; parents Charles and Bessie Mullins; 7 siblings; and several treasured friends.

Survivors include her four daughters, Sherry Lollar; Frieda (David) Ellis; Marlena Parrish; and Christi Fry; grandchildren Jason (Karen) Lollar, Carrie Panter, Joshua Lollar, Randy (Tammy) Waller, Maryann (Alex) Chevez, Shannon Waller, David J. (Camille) Ellis, Jr., Mitchell (Sylvia) Kirby, Bryan (Lindsey) Kirby, Sam Parrish, Joseph (Jessie) Parrish, Chelsea (Tucker) Trimble, Charis (Davis) Hutchison, Cassidy (Ben) Harned; 21 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; and dear friend and caregiver Pam Binkley.
