Frances Sue Wood, age 81, of Pegram, Tennessee passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026. Frances was born November 9, 1944 in Nashville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Sue Ann Dorris Swafford; brother, Noel Swafford, Jr.; and sister Cecelia Dianne Cannon. She is survived by her daughters, Kim Thompson, Cristy (Jeff) Weems, Jeri Dawn Wood; sisters, Alice Faye Dennis, Vickie (Richard) Farliss, Terrie Lee Swafford; grandchildren, Sarah Thompson, Steven Lovell, Leo Weems, Milo Weems, Adeline Weems, Patrick Connor (Vera) Page, Katherine Page, Hunter Wood; great grandchildren, Natalie, Addison, Aiden, Henry, and Gavin. Family and friends will gather to remember Frances in a Celebration of Life that will be held at a future date to be determined.
