Frances Stepp Ragland, age 94, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026.
She is survived by sons George S. Ragland and Col. Lee B. (Regie) Ragland, USMC; granddaughters, Sara Zendejas and Katie (Chris) Sinsheimer, sister, Lila Jane Verfurth, nieces, Lisa (Steve) McNeill and Leigh Ayn (Elias) Haralambakis, four great-grandchildren, and four grandnieces and nephew.
Graduate of Dalton High School (’48), The Ward-Belmont School (’50), and Vanderbilt University (’52).
Celebration of Life will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan 31, 2026, in Dignity Hall at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morning Pointe Foundation in memory of Frances Ragland, 6020 Arbury Way, Ooltewah, TN 37363.
