Eva Watts Wallace, 78, of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Natchez, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Born April 1, 1947, in Natchez, she was the beloved wife of the late Rolland (“Rollie”) Wallace and devoted mother of Jackie Wallace, Jay Wallace, and Jennye Miller-Wallace (wife, Morgan Miller-Wallace). She was “Gran” to Will Wallace, Maggie Wallace Phillips (husband, Ferris Phillips), and Victoria Wallace, and “Gran” also to two grand-dogs, Archie and Hami.
Always a Natchez girl, Eva was known for her fierce love, quick wit, and legendary spirit. Her tenacity and grit carried her through every challenge-she was truly a fighter and the heart of her family.
She is survived by her sister and best friend Diane Meeks and brother Claude Watts (wife, Gwen Watts). She was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Mildred Watts, siblings Wayne Watts and Kaye Taylor (late husband, Charles Taylor).
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
