Ethel Angeline Krantz, age 80, of Joelton, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at her home.
Mrs. Krantz was born on October 17, 1942, in Southside, Tennessee, to the late Slayden Perry & Mary Jane Perry Martin.
She was retired as a nurse after 40 years and later became a caregiver by choice. She loved to cook, work in the garden, square dancing, flowers, and Mexican food. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Krantz was a member of Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Horace, John, Pete, Thomas, and Buford Perry; sisters, Virginia Johnson and Mary Ann Hall; and great-granddaughter, Ivy Staggs.
Survivors include her husband, Jason Krantz; sons, Jonathan (Vicky) Staggs and Michael (Sharon) Staggs; daughters, Lucy Anderson and Misty (James) Wills; grandchildren, Brandi (Joey) Glasgow, Angel Heath, Jonathan (Mary) Staggs, Brittney (Gabe) Altom, Andy Staggs, Damon Erik (Amanda) Harris, Dakota Harris, Drake Harris, Crystal Jones, Mary (Chris) Crosby, and J.J. Wills; 17 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces & nephews; and her beloved dog, Coco.
Funeral services were conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 30th, with Bro. Jason Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson-Perry Cemetery in Ashland City with her grandsons, Damon Erik Harris, Dakota Harris, Drake Harris, Andy Staggs, Luke Glasgow, and Gibson Altom serving as pallbearers.
The family received friends at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View on Sunday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 2:00 PM.
