Ethan was a graduate of Vista Ridge High School, Colorado Springs, CO (Class of 2020). He was a member of the Vista Ridge High School Bowling club competing in state tournaments each year. He loved to snowboard, play all games from board games to online and was an avid video podcast creator and listener.
Ethan was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at the age of three months and lived with the causality of CF his entire life. His experience with CF resulted in him having a liver transplant as a fifteen-year-old sophomore in high school. He tried to live his life without allowing CF to control every aspect of it. He spent weeks in and out of the hospital which connected him with the Make-A-Wish Foundation giving him an opportunity to follow his dream in 2018 and meet Guy Fieri at an episode of Guy’s Grocery Games.
As an avid Tennessee Vol fan, he relocated from Colorado Springs to Knoxville, Tennessee and moved in with his grandfather in January of 2025. In Knoxville, he found a church, City Hills Church, where his faith was rekindled, a group where he found acceptance, 1501 Young Adults, and resurrected a passion to play drums. He was taking drum lessons at City Hills Worship Academy. His goal was to join the worship team of City Hills Powell Campus where his uncle, Michael is the campus pastor. Since returning to Knoxville, his light never shown brighter and his love for the Lord was very evident. His online streaming bio reflected his passion, ending with, “Let’s go love God, love people, and change our world.”
