Emily Shoemake, age 81 of Antioch, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023.
A devoted and loving wife, mother and her most cherished role …” Nana.” Also affectionately known as “Aunt EM” and “Mamma Shoe.” She was the #1 checker at H G Hill Grocery, Elysian Fields for many years.
She enjoyed reading, sewing and crocheting. A fantastic cook and baker, no one left her table hungry. Holidays and birthdays were a favorite, especially spoiling her grandchildren (and us big kids too)!
Survived by daughter, Kristy (Daryle) Jones; son, Billy Ray Shoemake, Jr.; grandchildren, Matthew Jones, Kirby (Shane) Beecham and Madison (Ryan) Young; and great-grandson, Ezekiel Beecham.
Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Al Henson and Kevin Thomas on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 12:00 Noon (visitation 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon) at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road.
