Elizabeth Burton Wiles age 98 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021.
Elizabeth was born February 26, 1923 in Wildersville, Tennessee to the late Henry C. and Elah Massey Burton.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Euel Wiles; daughter Juanita Wiles; siblings, Athleen Burton Daniels, Lois Walden, Ora Wesson, Valcour Wall, Hettie Lisenby, Charlie Rhodes, Henry Burton, Will Burton, and Exie Burton.
Elizabeth was a graduate of Lexington High School Class of 1942 and later attended Nashville Business College. She attended Saturn Drive Baptist Church. Elizabeth was a selfless loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt and will be sadly missed. Her wit and humor were infectious and her storytelling was cherished by family and friends.
She is survived by sons, Dennis (Paula) Wiles of Decatur, Georgia and Lanny (Maggie) Wiles of Readyville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Denise Duke, Conrad Wiles, Brandon Wiles, and Harrison Tritschler; a special niece, Carolyn Daniels and special nephews, Charles Daniels and Dwayne Daniels; a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at two-thirty in the afternoon on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rock Springs United Methodist Cemetery Fund.
